Ahead of tonight's clash between France and Portugal, Didier Deschamps highlighted the importance of Cristiano Ronaldo to his Portuguese rivals.

"We know the Portuguese team is very dependent on Cristiano's goal," said Deschamps. He is the winner of Portugal's first two matches. So we have to do everything to stop Ronaldo's influence.

"I only made one transfer between the first and second games," he said. But this game we will change more players. "We have already reached the last 16, so we seem to have a lot of confidence in the last group stage."
